Merry Christmas- St. Louis

Well my love, we are back home from all of our travels.  We were gone for a week visiting family in St. Louis and then Springfield and then came back home for New Years with our friends.  We had a great trip and you got a lot of fun presents.  We just cleaned up and put away all the Christmas decorations yesterday since Daddy was off work. We also went sledding and walked around Union Station and Crown Center.  It was a fun family day!

In St. Louis we stayed with Aunt Chrissy and Great Grandma.  You loved playing with Liz and Reggie, their puppies.  We had Christmas this year at (Great) Aunt Jane's house.

Before Christmas we had a wonderful dinner at Grandma Wendy's house.  We got to hangout with your soon to be Uncle Max and Aunt Margret.  It was a celebration of Grandpa Bill's engagement to Wendy.  They will be getting married in September and you get to be the flower girl!  This is such a huge blessing and an answer to so many prayers.  It reminds me of how God gives the best gifts and is faithful to us.  It also reminds me of how redemptive God's work is.  I am so, so happy for you to have another wonderful Grandma and 2 new uncles and 1 new aunt.  Grandma Wendy is a beautiful person- intelligent, kind, serving, passionate... she and Grandpa will be very happy together.

CHRISTMAS EVE AT GREAT AUNT JANE'S HOUSE

Silly sisters
So excited to be with cousin Marikate... not so much excitement for Mommy.

You are sooooo happy because you are getting to eat loads and loads of crackers, which I don't usually let you have. :)

CHRISTMAS MORNING AT GRANDPA BILL'S HOUSE
Your Grandpa built you a cool train set that goes around the Christmas tree.  You loved it!  You would point at the train and say "CHOO-CHOO!" every time it came around.

We also went to visit Great Grandpa's grave.  It will be one year on the 31st that Great Grandpa has been in heaven.  We miss him so much but we know he is at peace with the Lord.
