Kicking! 20 weeks

Hello baby boy,

On Sunday I felt you very clearly kicking.  Daddy and Aunt Chrissy were able to feel you kick for the first time!  Today I am 20 weeks, which is half way through.  It's crazy how fast this pregnancy is flying by.  I was surprised to be feeling you kick already.  You are the length of a banana this week.  We all love you very much and are so excited to meet you!

Love,
Momma

Summer is here!

What have we been up to lately?  Well, since the weather has finally gotten warm (and now HOT) we have been spending most of our time outdoors.  We are obsessed with the zoo, we've gone to Deanna Rose Farmstead, and we play in the back yard a lot.  Yesterday we finished planting our garden with tomato plants, and our front and side beds with flowers.  Quinn enjoyed planting and LOVES to water.  And just about every day while Quinn is napping I am outside working on her play kitchen.  I loves how it's coming along and it's almost done!

We also had an awesome BBQ at Derek, Alicia, and Jude's house.  We hung out, ate delicious food, then you kids took a bath together and ran around the house naked!  You also got to hold Kannon for the first time.  You were so excited!

Two weekends ago we went to Springfield to celebrate Great Grandma's 80th birthday!

Quinn can count to ten (but still needs help with 1 and 7).  She knows her colors most of the time and loves naming off the colors of different things she sees.  Her vocabulary is growing by the day.  She loves to tell me if I am wearing tennis shoes, slippers, boots, or sandals.  She love when we tickle her and will tell us where she wants to be tickled (in the bath she asks us to pour water on different parts of her body).  She will say "head, elbow, other elbow, belly, feet, other feet, eye, other eye, booty, ear, other ear . . ." etc.  Every time we leave the house Quinn runs into the kitchen yelling "treat! treat!".  I give her two treats, then Quinn tells each dogs to "sit" and she waits for them to sit and then gives them the treat and says "good. boy." while nodding her head.  She also loves to tell the dogs "no, no" when she has food and they are following her around, or if Bosco growls at her.  It's adorable.  Lately she loves playing with her "Baby Bear" and I hear her playing pretend with him and talking about him going "pee-pee" and "poo-poo".
